Porcellio Werneri Isopods

Porcellio werneri are a beautiful almost round isopod with a flat appearance. Native to Greece, Porcellio Werneri prefer a drier enclosure with significant ventilation and lots of space. We keep ours at a 25/75 (damp/dry) ratio. A large calcium source and higher protein diet should be offered. They are thought to be seasonal breeders.

Isopod Depot isopods are cultured on our Isopod Mix Substrate. We feed 2 times a week, alternating our various Iso Chow Food Blends and supplement cuttlebone, egg shells, oyster shells, limestone, and moss.
